The binaries stored here for use with the CLAM makefile system come from a few different sources. Feel free to not trust them. HOOPLE provided apps: Most of these apps are compiled through the hoople bootstrapping process itself, so you already have the source code for the apps if you have the HOOPLE code base (see http://hoople.org to download). This is the set of binaries that hoople itself can re-build: linux binaries: makedep sleep_ms version_stamper vsts_version_fixer write_build_config windoze binaries: sleep_ms.exe value_tagger makedep.exe playsound.exe short_path.exe value_tagger.exe version_stamper.exe vsts_version_fixer.exe write_build_config.exe zap_process.exe unzip.exe & zip.exe: The zip and unzip tools are from the info-zip project. They are somewhat antiquated but still work great on the various 32-bit windows platforms. These utilities are self-identified as: "Zip 2.3 (November 29th 1999)" To get a more recent version of the zip utilities or build them yourself, they can be found at the site: http://www.info-zip.org/ ReplaceVistaIcon.exe: This application comes from the codeproject site, which is generally considered a pretty reputable source. If you need to, you can recompile the application based on the source code at: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/GDI/using_vista_icons.aspx
